New Virtual Community Engagement Sessions Added

The NLPS Board of Trustees has added two virtual engagement opportunities for community stakeholders to collect input on what priorities the division should include in its next Three-Year Education Plan.

Anyone who was unable to attend the in-person sessions that took place between February 7 and March 5 is welcome to attend the online sessions. The sessions will take place on Wednesday, March 13 from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, March 14 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. If you are interested in participating, please contact your child's school or communications@nlsd.ab.ca for a link.

The input collected at the community engagement meetings will be used to help the Board determine what division priorities to include in its next Three-Year Education Plan. The current division priorities are improving student mental health and wellness, and improving students’ numeracy skills and understanding. These were developed through extensive consultations done with stakeholders in 2018-2019.
