Northern Lights Public Schools is pleased to announce that JoDee Conrad has been appointed Principal of Duclos School for the 2025-2026 school year.
“JoDee has a student-centred approach that is focused on collaboration at all levels to ensure students have the support and opportunities they need to excel,” said Superintendent Rick Cusson. “We’re confident her continued leadership will build on the school’s strengths and create new opportunities for student success.”
Mrs. Conrad started her career with NLPS in 2000 and is celebrating 25 years with the school division. She spent 19 years at H.E. Bourgoin School in Bonnyville, serving as Assistant Principal for five years. Conrad has been Acting Principal of Duclos School for the 2024-2025 school year and served as the school’s Assistant Principal since 2020-2021.
“I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to be the Principal of Duclos School!” said Conrad. “I look forward to continued collaboration with the dedicated staff, enthusiastic students, and supportive families to foster a vibrant, enriching and caring learning environment. Together, we will continue to build upon the school's strong foundation, with a focus on developing early literacy and numeracy skills, supporting student well-being and creating an active and engaged school community.”
