Northern Lights Public Schools is proud to celebrate the achievements of students who are creating positive change in their schools and communities.
Over the next few weeks, NLPS Trustees will be visiting schools to present Impact Awards to 12 inspiring students from eight different schools. These students have been selected for their outstanding efforts in building welcoming school environments, demonstrating empathy and compassion, mentoring peers, volunteering, and using their knowledge and skills to make a difference.
“These students are more than just role models — they are leaders who make our schools stronger, kinder, and more connected,” said Board Chair Karen Packard. “We are honoured to recognize their efforts and inspired by the example they set for others.”
This marks the second year that Impact Awards are being presented by the Board of Trustees. Launched in 2024, the awards celebrate students from all grade levels who go above and beyond to contribute positively to their school communities.
