We’re excited to announce that rideSAFE is coming back to NLPS next week, starting with a visit to Ardmore School on Tuesday, September 24th!
Our rideSAFE program is all about making sure students know how to stay safe while riding the bus to and from school. During the session, students will dive into key topics like school bus safety, their responsibilities as riders, important bus rules, and how to handle a bus evacuation.
Developed right here at Northern Lights Public Schools, rideSAFE combines engaging classroom discussions with hands-on practice aboard a school bus, giving students the tools and knowledge they need to ride with confidence and care.
The program will be making stops at other NLPS schools throughout September and October, leading up to School Bus Safety Week, happening October 21-25.
