Wellness Wednesday - August 19, 2020

Last year we shared a Family Back to School Mental Health Checklist to help families prepare children to head back to school and address some of the common anxiety associated with making transitions and starting something new. All of those tips are great for starting any new school year, including this year, and we recommend you review it in preparation for the 2020-2021 school year.

To help address some of the added anxiety and emotions children may be feeling as a result of COVID-19, and all of the new rules that will be in place, we have created a new Back to School Mental Health Checklist that focuses on COVID-19 and things you can do to prepare your children to deal with the ways school will be different this year.

Summer Bingo Challenge

Our Summer Bingo - Mental Health Edition includes fun activities and strategies for cultivating mental health. Take a few minutes each day to complete one of the bingo squares. Complete all of the activities on the card and enter to win a prize! The deadline to submit your completed cards is Friday, August 21, 2020.

We’ll be posting one video every day featuring one of the activities on our bingo cards. You can also view the videos as they are released on the 2020 Summer Bingo Challenge playlist on our YouTube channel.
