June - transition and change.

-Our students are getting restless ready for the school year to be over. Teachers are working hard marking all the work that has been handed in. And let me say there is a lot of work being handed in, it is almost like the students waited till the end of the year do this just to see the teacher work extra hard,

-Exams, tests are at over for the year, and planning and intake to register students has started for returning students and new ones.  Please call the school last week in August to register your student and to complete an intake with staff.

-Graduation for our students are in June and plans are in place to honor and celebrate this day. Call your schools for more information.

-If your school has an Open House planned please attend and do a  meet and greet

-As the school year comes to a close, June brings a theme that's all about Transitions and Preparing for Change. Change is in the air, and we're here to help you make the most of this transition with positivity and excitement. Let's dive in and embrace the journey together!

Thriving in Transitions: Student Edition

Students, let's conquer change:

  1. Be Curious: Approach change with a sense of curiosity and openness. Embrace the unknown and see it as an opportunity for adventure and growth.
  2. Seek Support: Superheroes never face challenges alone. Reach out to friends, family, or a trusted counselor who can offer support and guidance during times of change. They'll be your sidekicks on this superhero journey.
  3. Plan and Prepare: Make a superhero plan! Research and gather information about the change you're facing. Knowing what to expect can help ease anxiety and boost your confidence.
  4. Embrace Flexibility: Superheroes are adaptable and flexible. Be open to new possibilities and be ready to adjust your plans along the way. Flexibility allows you to navigate change with grace and resilience.
  5. Practice Self-Care: Taking care of yourself is crucial during times of change. Prioritize self-care activities that recharge your energy and bring you joy. Engage in hobbies, practice mindfulness, and ensure you get enough rest to stay strong and focused.
  6. Embracing the Unknown: Change often involves stepping into the unknown, and that's where the real adventure lies. Embrace the unknown like a superhero, with a sense of excitement and courage. Remember, within the unknown lies the potential for incredible growth and new discoveries.
