Cheryl Edwards

Cheryl Edwards moved to the M.D. of Bonnyville in 2009 from a small northern community.  Having lived in various small communities, Cheryl has the ability to identify commonalities while acknowledging each community's uniqueness. She always finds a way to connect to her community through work or volunteer opportunities. Camping with friends & family, hockey and kids have brought her joy in the Lakeland.

Married with two grown children, she knows NLPS as a parent and former employee. Colleagues know her for perseverance, inspiration and a passion for literacy in all its forms. 

This is Cheryl's first term as a trustee and she is excited to work with the team to structure solutions that provide harmony while strengthening our organization ensuring ALL stakeholders have not only a voice, but a governing body to listen.
