Northern Lights Public Schools is pleased to announce that Brandon Isert has been appointed Principal of Art Smith Aviation Academy (ASAA) for the 2024-2025 school year.
“Brandon has consistently demonstrated a commitment to exploring new ways to engage students and using technology to enhance learning, which aligns well with the STEAM and aviation focus at Art Smith,” said Superintendent Rick Cusson.
Isert has been Principal of Learning Together Anywhere (LTA) School since 2021-2022 and was part of the administration team that developed and implemented that online learning option for families in 2020-2021 while serving as Assistant Principal of ASAA. Prior to that, Isert taught Grade 6 at ASAA and Grade 4 at Duclos School in Bonnyville.
“I'm thrilled to be joining the Art Smith Aviation Academy team as principal! I look forward to returning to ASAA and focusing on enhancing our French immersion, STEAM education, and aviation programming, and deepening connections with the military community,” said Isert. “I'm deeply grateful for my time at LTA and the relationships I built there. I look forward to working with the ASAA team to continue their tradition of excellence.”
