As part of its commitment to building leadership capacity and ensuring a strong succession plan is in place for the division, Northern Lights Public Schools is making some changes to the administration teams at its schools in Cold Lake for the 2020-2021 school year.
- Terry Kaminski, currently Assistant Principal at Cold Lake High School, will become Assistant Principal at Nelson Heights Middle School
- Twila Moore, currently Assistant Principal at Nelson Heights, will become Assistant Principal at Cold Lake Middle School.
- Carla Babiuk, currently Assistant Principal at Cold Lake Middle School, will become Assistant Principal at Cold Lake High School.
“We believe it’s important to give our administrators the opportunity to learn and develop their skills so they are better able to serve students and perhaps move on to other roles in the division in the future,” explained Superintendent Rick Cusson. “This includes experiencing what it’s like to work with different ages and grade levels of students, and in different school environments.”
All other administration appointments at the division’s schools in Cold Lake will remain the same for the 2020-2021 school year.
