Policy Appendix G: Superintendent Evaluation Committee

The Superintendent Evaluation Committee is established as a standing committee of the Board, with responsibilities for work as detailed below:

  1. Purpose
    1. Provide a recommendation for a process of evaluation for the Superintendent
  2. Powers and Duties
    1. Request the Superintendent to provide evidence of agreed-upon quality indicators.
    2. Recommend an evaluation report by the Board.
    3. After consultation with the Superintendent, recommend a particular evaluation process to the Board.
  3. Membership
    1. Board Chair
    2. One trustee
    3. Superintendent
  4. Meetings
    1. To be called by the Committee Chair by March 1st annually and completed and presented for Board approval by June 30th.
