Northern Lights Public Schools is now accepting applications for Summer School for 2019!
Summer School will run from July 2-26 at Bonnyville Outreach School, Cold Lake High School, and J.A. Williams High School in Lac La Biche. Classes are from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily.
Courses offered may include Aboriginal Studies, Biology, Career and Life Management (CALM), Career and Technology Studies, Chemistry, English, Social Studies, Math, Physical Education, Physics, RAP, Science, and Work Experience. The final list of courses offered at each location will depend on demand.
NLPS students can apply for Summer School by logging in to their PowerSchool student account and clicking on School Engage in the lower left hand corner. More detail is available on our Summer School Application page.
Our Summer School program is also open to students who are currently attending high schools in other jurisdictions. To apply, fill out the form in School Engage.
Summer School is offered at no cost to Alberta Education students. Registration fees are $190.17 per credit for adult learners and out of province students.
Summer School Provincial Diploma Exams will be written in two centers in August: J.A. Williams High School for Lac La Biche, and Bonnyville Outreach School for Cold Lake and Bonnyville Summer School students.
